Waiting for the Music

Seen in a shop in Bruges, Belgium, these cellos stood in a perfect line, their polished wood catching the light and showing off the warm colours of the varnish. The repetition of shapes and the quiet stillness made it feel as if they were simply waiting to be picked up and played, turning a shop display into a moment of pattern, light and anticipation.
